Mixed quadrilateral and triangle mesh

Anyone knows how to create a mixed quadrilateral and triangle mesh? Basically I want to create a quadrilateral mesh, however, if there is not equal vertexes on the opposite sides, then a few triangle cells are allowed.

There is currently no way to do this with Triangle.NET.

The latest code contains a triangle mesh to DCEL conversion method. DCELs are a very flexible data structure, which could be used to represent mixed meshes, so that may be a good starting point.
